Aion – korean Open Beta

NCSoft Korea has launched the Open Beta for Aion: The Tower of Eternity. Being restricted to korean Players only, some non-korean people sneaked in it as well. If you want you can follow Awantos live while he is exploring the world of Atreia:
There are no plans for any non-korean open beta. There are only a few short Preview-Events planed North America/Europe. So the real beta testing and playerbase influence gonna be again Korea. For NCSoft self proclaimed next big triple A IP (thats supposed to become an international success) this isn’t too promising. With that and the Lineage 2 failure in mind: Aion will be NCSofts next international failure, event tho it got a hugh potential – just like Lineage 2 had.
Aion: The Tower of Eternity will be launched over-seas within 2/3 month intervals after the Korean release. Within 2009 Aion will be launched in China, North America/Europe, Japan and Taiwan – in that order. Central/South America will get Aion by 2010.

I read some comends all over the internet about Aion..
I wasnt so happy with what i read..
I was realy looking forward for this game, i loved the graphics and i hoped it could be all that things that l2 couldn’t, like more of a game and less of a second (or first -for some ppl) life!
And now i read that is not going to be beta server for America and Europe..
well done ncsoft another game for hardcore players. Why u select such a small group of ppl to be your client? To bad, less money in your pocket..

There will be so called Preview-Events for Aion. But these are supposed tobe ‘invite only’ …
